Intergalactic message starts in, 3, 2, 1

I’d like to shout out to my fellow fans of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy– I know there are many of you. I have confirmed the location of The Pub at the End of the Universe. Turns out it’s just over the river from me. Plus they have delicious beers.

Happy Friday, cheers from this end of the universe to yours.

I took Maty on a trip too, he wasn’t interested in light years of travel, so I took him to a much nearer location, Multnomah Village. This is better than a walk in the neighborhood to him because it involves a car ride, hundreds of new smells, and people. He’s like a little tornado of happiness, he moves from one person to another, to the bus stop and the people on the corner and totally disrupts their conversations.

Yeah, this is the life.

What are you guys doing tomorrow? Want to go play in the sunshine (oh, there WILL BE SUNSHINE, I’ll make sure of it)? Specifically, I mean the sunshine on NE Martin Luther King Blvd, where a new weekly market of food vendors and booths of local artists, crafters, and those that make all the other amazing things in Portland. The Dreamer’s Marketplace runs both Saturday and Sunday. 10-5:00 and 10-4:00, respectively. In their words,  A blossoming, inclusive community of local food purveyors, artists and entrepreneurs sharing their passions and dreams with the Portland community.

It’s easy to find, just follow the smell of fresh caramel kettle corn toward the big orange building. Yes, the Dreamer’s Marketplace is conveniently located across the street from the brightest building on MLK, River Organics.

Basically, I’m saying good things are going on around here, and I hope you can get in on them. Thanks for reading! Enjoy your weekend!
