April showers bring May…showers.

There is a new project taking root in NE Portland (it’s next to River Organics, I might have mentioned them?). Some intelligent people are arranging an artist and crafter market in an empty building. At one time it had been a bank and it retains the vault. One of the vendors for the Market, Adrianna, is using the vault for her vintage and second-hand clothes, shoes, and handmade jewelry. She commissioned me to paint a sign for her new shop, Seconds to Go.

I love that door

It’s raining outside so hard it’s unfair. Luckily, not all our flowers are out in the deluge. Here are a couple peonies I saved.

The center puff-balls are the size of baseballs. So there’s my taste of springtime for the day– and for anyone else having un-spring-like weather. It’s a short post today, I know. But that’s because I’m busy doing things that may be interesting enough to tell you guys about it. Thanks for reading!
