Saddling up my work horse, named Craig. Craig List.

this is what my head says

I have been sifting through Craig’s List for art gigs and submitted work for a gallery and also a cafe in SE Portland. Cross your fingers for me, I’d love to start writing things in my 2010 planner.

I’m hoping to get in on one for March themed on Arts Therapy Month. 2 of my 5 submissions are migraine paintings– I think it’s got a place in the Arts Therapy arena. I’d like to see some from another artist. If you’ve run across a nice cafe or a cool business that shows art, let me know about them. Most of the places I contact are places I’ve never been, and I’d love to be able to contact based on a recommendation.

Yesterday we got a snowstorm, and I thought it was rather nice, and the perfect consistency snow… but that’s because I didn’t drive anywhere. I played in the front yard with the dog. Later we even went on a snowy night walk. He digs it, he’s from Alaska.

this was before the 4 inches that crippled I-5

Today I watched the snow melt while I listened to my KitchenAid mixer kneading bread dough for me like a good little sous chef. I made baguettes, and they’re delightful. Not only are they great for holding butter and honey, but they were perfect for trying out the Food setting on my new camera. Yeah, there’s a  food setting.

The camera adds 10 oz. of delicious.

Ok, I forgot to do the little score-marks, but look at that crust!

Thanks for reading. Here’s something I thought was pretty last night walking the dog.
